Jazzbones, Seattle

So I drove my baby up to Seattle and lo and behold the Supersuckers were playing. So we went to see them live at this little place called Jazzbones. It's a two story place, kind of small and right smack dab in the middle of this little mini-downtown / residential area that you won't find in LA. So we parked and walked to the club to check it out. Pretty neat inside, nice and dark upstairs which suits me to a t. Friendly waitresses and pretty good drinks. It's the kind of place I could definitely see myself hanging out in. From what I gathered they don't usually host acts like the Supersuckers, and are more of a jazz or blues venue, which is kewl to. I didn't do too much hanging downstairs since our seats in the upstairs area were pretty neat. The stage is super tiny, but the accoustics are pretty damn good for a club this small. Downstairs looks like it could suck a lot unless you went and stood down on the floor. And for what it's worth, nobody seemed interested in moshing in this place, and a few people came just for dinner. Which by the way, the food is pretty darn good as well.
