This is my second favorite place. Black, dark and dreary, it's the perfect place for spooky boy shows. My recommendation here is to get a dinner reservation. Short of that you're pretty much left to find what few seats there are in the back or stand down in the pit area. Views are good from almost everywhere, as is the sound. The lighting is ok, although it's nowhere hear as flush as the House of Blues. Dinner reservations carry a $10 minimum, and all tickets have a two drink minimum. The drinks are reasonably priced and well mixed, but the food could be better. But you're not going there for the food anyway, are you? The opening acts are a mix-up at times, but are generally better than those at the Coach House. Their lineup is usually pretty good, but it seems as if a lot of the better acts have moved on up to Anaheim. The service is usually good and good looking to boot, especially at the darker shows. Finally, if you've got a table and don't like the light at the table ruining your sight .... just unscrew the damn bulb ... it works really well and makes the room just a little darker.
