the gods almighty deemed that he
should be put to death, rather than mercifully passing quietly. another kick in
the ribs as far as i'm concerned. but enough. he's gone. the barking, the
sniffing, the incessant tail wagging are all just memories from here on out. he
had a long run, and brought more than his share of smiles, comfort and support
through his tenure on this planet. he'll be missed sorely, and as I shed a tear
for him, i pray that all good dogs do indeed go to heaven.
