this is the end. this has been a year of endings. relationship = over hard drinking rockaholic = over jeep = dead many other things = over in any event, it's not like i spent that much time on here anyway ... wanted to, but found that the less i played around, the less i actually had to do with this little project i started years ago. so like with so many other things in life ... it's time to move on to other areas. for better or worse, my drunken late nights have been replaced by quiet nights at home with the cat and a book. gone for the most part are the never-ending absolut_n_tonic's and mosh pits, only to be replaced by physics or classical literature reads and the occasional bottle of wine. the gas guzzling suv i loved so much in years previous, who treated me pretty well and took me and others so many places both mentally and physically is gone as well ... replaced by a micro-car that doesn't even have a cd player. issues of oc weekly and addictions to hob website listings have been replaced by the wall street journal and twitter. i guess every once in a while something comes along to press the reset button on your life, and maybe i was just overdue. as much as i'd like to, i can't see going back to the life i led while creating this site, and with that in mind i guess it's time to say goodbye and see if i can do something else with whatever direction my life is now heading. no regrets mind you ... i loved it all, and all those i met along the way, and close out with tears in my eyes. go in peace and as i was told once many years back, may the light that guides you shine with abandon. snuff
