George Clinton + Parliament Funkadelic

I've seen Mr. Clinton and Parliament twice now, both times at the House of Blues. It's true what they say about a P-Funk party never stopping. At the first show I swear to god management turned off the electricity to the stage and they still kept it up. The second time ended a little more normally, although it was still an incredibly long show. Lots of musicians, lots of talent, and lots of music. I'd describe it more as a long jam session than a structured concert, but it worked nonetheless. I have to admit, they're not totally my cup of tea, but I wanted to see Clinton just because he's a legend. The first show was on Halloween night, and that made everything just that much more special. I went to the second show to accompany some friends who missed him the first time around. I wouldn't have gone otherwise, but it was worth it, and it says more about my taste than it does about the talent on the stage. Besides, I ended up liking it didn't I?
