Unknown Hinson

I could be mean and say there's a reason Hinson is unknown and will remain so. But he wasn't that bad at all. The Unknown One came out in his black rockabilly suit with a bass player and a drummer. Playing a nice black Gibson and playing all original songs, he did an admirable job of warming up the crowd for Horton Heat. I couldn't tell if he was missing teeth or not, it kind of looked like it, and I swear to god he had sideburns glued onto his face. But that only made it all the more campy and fun. He's got some damn good funny songs, and while the music wasn't the best I've ever heard, I have seen a lot worse from guys who are supposed to be better than him. I'd see him again if the ticket was cheap and the place convenient, but I can't say I'd go out of my way to catch him. Check him out before you go and don't spend a lot to do it.
