Level Vodka

My new favorite vodka. Super smooth with a great taste. Haven't found it in too many bars just yet, but BevMo has it and some markets to boot. There's a little restaurant nearby that started selling martinis, including lemon drops, lol, made with this stuff. Yumm yumm. Mixed some up at home and found my own perfect recipe (see below). Anyway, since I don't drink a lot at home anymore, hee hee, I'll probably make this one vodka I buy, with perhaps a side bottle of Mandrin for when I'm feeling fruity!

Absolut Vodka

Say what you will about other vodka's ... I'll say they're not as good ... Skyy, Ketel One, Belvedere and Grey Goose to boot. It may not be the most expensive, but it's hard to beat the Citron, Kurant or Mandrin for a well-mixed tonic. If you're feeling frisky, they both work well with Mountain Dew. Of course, cranberry juice is an acceptable alternative to tonic if you're running low. Their new Level premium brand is also way smoother and well worth the additional money for mixed drinks. For tonic's i still prefer the flavored varieties. Short of the plain, Kurant or Mandarin, the Raspberry is pretty lame, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna try the Peach and Peppar ones.
