For when you just want to have a good strong beer. Not quite as heavy and undrinkable in quantity as a Guinness, but it's got the taste you won't find in MGD .... no matter what the commercials say. This is now the one of the few beers I buy for home.
I dare you to order a Black and Tan without the tan. Me and a good friend used to drink this stuff by the pitcher oh so many years ago. True, it does taste like you're chewing on a dirty rubber band and you could probably float a battleship on its head, but don't you just love it anyway? The canned draught version has now become a handy favorite in the mosh pits at the HOB!
The one beer I find myself ordering time and time again up in the northwest. Dark, bitter and with a punch. Most of the places I've been have it on tap, so it's even better!
